Birmingham-based Castle Vale Community Housing Association (CVCHA), the landlord of nearly 2,500 homes and one of only a handful of community-led housing associations in the country, has become the first housing association to join Go ON Gold.

Matthew Underwood, Castle Vale Digital Champion, said: “Tackling digital exclusion among our residents is high on our agenda and we hope that by joining Go ON Gold we will increase our awareness of the needs of our disabled residents.

“Ensuring that everyone can access the internet and develop the skills they need to make active use of technology is key to reducing social isolation and improving communication across our community. We are looking forward to enabling our residents to interact more online and to improving the accessibility of services as a result.”
