Age UK’s annual Internet Champion award recognises older computer users whose lives have been improved by using the internet, and who can hopefully inspire some of the five million people in the UK aged 65 and over who have never been online.
A touring digital inclusion project that helped residents in five cities across the UK, including hundreds of elderly people, to increase their computer skills by touring around the country in a portable cabin, is looking to start up again during 2013.
